Do I need an account to use Hours Tracker?

Some features may work without an account, but sign-in may be required for account-based features such as syncing, cloud-backed data, or account management.

How do I track a shift?

You can use the live clock to start and end a shift in real time, or manually add a shift later from your shift history. The app uses your shift details to calculate hours and estimated pay.

How do pay periods work?

You can set your pay schedule so Hours Tracker groups shifts into paycheck windows. This makes it easier to review hours, estimated pay, tips, actual pay, and totals for each pay period.

What does “actual pay” mean?

Actual pay is the amount you received in your real paycheck. Entering actual pay lets you compare your paycheck against the app’s estimated pay for the same pay period.

Can I export my timesheet?

Yes. You can generate a timesheet by pay period or by custom date range, which can help you review your records or share your hours when needed.

How do I remove ads?

Hours Tracker offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Apple, and we do not receive or store your payment card information.

Can I back up or restore my data?

If enabled in the app, optional iCloud backup may help save and restore your app data, including jobs, shifts, pay settings, tips, pay periods, and preferences.

How do I request account or data deletion?
